Defence Services Wing (DSW)

In its pursuit to make students of KIS Karnal ‘Future Fit, Future Ready’, the school has established a robust Defence Services Wings (DSW) to encourage its students to make career in the elite Defence Forces of our country.

Preparation for NDA Written Exam:

A well-qualified and highly competent faculty well versed with the syllabus of UPSC Exam for National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla has been placed in Defence wing of KIS Karnal to ensure that students start preparing for their competitive exam right from class XI itself. A systematic plan of periodic tests and mock tests before the final exam will always result in high success rate for our students.

Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview Guidance Program:

KIS Karnal has a well-established SSB Guidance program for its students looking for a career in Defence forces as officer. A very experienced team of Ground Testing officers (GTO), Psychologists and Interviewing Officer (IO) works along with our Chairman Col. Arun Datta to guide our students from class XI itself to prepare them to face the SSB interview successfully. Along with full-fledged obstacle course, the school has got both indoor and outdoor training facilities for NDA aspirants to keep them physically fit.

Technical Entry Scheme (TES):

Apart from NDA preparation, KIS Karnal also guides its eligible students to join TES Entry of Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy to become officers in the technical branches of elite Indian Defence Forces. Faculty of KIS prepares the class XII students in such a way that they get call for interviews and clear it successfully.
